BF to FF...how long did it take for your milk to dry up?

Just as the title says...I've switched over to FF after a week of BF and my boobs are SO sore, like rocks and are leaking everywhere (i'm wearing two breast pads at night and still soaking through)

Anyone who's switched...how long did it take for your milk to dry up and for them to stop hurting so much? xx

It took about a week and a half for me and yes it hurts like hell!!

Oh god, really that long? I was hoping for a couple of days so i'm not hurting over xmas oh well! Thanks x

Mine were so bad after 6 days that I had to pump. After I pumped, they slowly refilled, not to a rock hard/painful place, and then went away. I don't recall exactly, but it felt like about 2 weeks.

I had been BF for 8 weeks and had an oversupply, so I weaned really gradually and then had 1 day of pain and then back to normal. I still find milk in my nipples sometimes though, it's weird
