I'm in shock! DH and I started TTC in March 2011. I think I had 1 chemical pregnancy 4 years ago, but I'm not sure because I used an internet cheapie and the line was super super light and never got darker. Other than that... nothing. To my knowledge that was the only time we maybe conceived, and I'm not even 100% sure about that time.
My period was due yesterday (13dpo) and didn't come. And I usually spot for a day or two leading up to it and there was nothing. So this morning at 14 dpo, I took a test for the first time in years. I only tested because I've had the worst heartburn of my life since 9dpo and I started getting nauseous 2 days ago, and I've been having diarrhea and all sorts of just weird stomach issues. At first I thought I had a stomach bug, but it just went on and on and on and was not like any stomach bug I've ever had. I also just feel different. I can't describe it, but I just had this feeling, but after all this time I don't trust my feelings, so I didn't really believe it haha. Since my period was late, I decided to test just to rule it out. I used second morning urine and got a light positive, but DH could see it, I can see it, and my BFF saw it on a picture I sent her. So it's real! I can't believe it. It's been soooo long. I have butterflies.
I want this baby to stick with my whole heart, but after 11.5 years, I'm a realist. I know that it may not turn out the way I hope and pray that it does. But, even if this baby doesn't stick, I'm so thankful to know that I can get pregnant. I always promised myself that if I ever got pregnant I would post on this forum to give people hope that miracles can happen.
For anyone curious: We were diagnosed with MFI. DH had 0% morphology. His count and motility were okay. Not great, but not awful. I checked out fine. His fertility urologist put him on Clomid several years ago, but it didn't do anything and so we chose to stop pursuing treatments. But 4 months ago, he started taking a fertility booster he got on Amazon. He loved how they made him feel, and we figured they couldn't hurt anything. He grabbed the women's version for me and I took them just this month. We also took a 2nd honeymoon to celebrate our 12th anniversary and actually conceived while on the trip! So apparently fertility vitamins and a trip to the beach was all it took lol
I hope and pray that everyone reading this gets their own miracle soon (Sorry this was so long lol)
UPDATE: This pregnancy ended in an early miscarriage. But I am so hopeful that I did get pregnant. The supplements we took are called Fertility Booster by Nature's Craft. The men and women's version. I am still so thankful that I got to experience pregnancy after all these years, even if it was for only a short time. I really hope these supplements help us to conceive again with a sticky baby. I am sending anyone reading this all the baby dust in the world
