BFP from bd'ing 3 days before O?

Hey, just wondering if any of you ladies know when you conceived? If anyone conceived 3 days or longer before O? Not supposed to be trying just yet, but had an "oops" and realized from temping I O'd 3 days later. Of course, we would be thrilled if pregnancy happens, as long as everything is ok health wise.

They recommend that you BD three or four days in advance of O if you want a girl apparently! Definitely very possible, some people conceive five days before. Good luck!

I think that happened with me. We only bd once and I'm pretty sure I got pregnant 2-3 days after. Yikes

I didn't track my Bfp cycle as it was just after my cm and I was too devastated to whole heartedly ROTC, but I've had two scans and both scans date me at ov two days after bding. It can definitely happen. Sperm can live for six days in a good uterine environment xx

Yes, that happened to us with our first: BD'd three (or four) days before ovulation and not for over a week after as my boyfriend got the flu. It turned into a healthy, lively lovely boy nine months later, so definitely possible. Good luck! x

We bd'd 6-7 days before O & and day after O so we thought we were out for this month lol ..do yoi guyz think you can get preg by bd'ing a day after Ovulation as the egg stays for 24 hours..??

I've read conflicting info on bd'ing after o. One place said that sperm weren't ready to fertilize until 12-24 hours after sex, so by the time they were ready, the egg was "expired." But that is the first I've heard of it, so I don't think that's the case! I think it's more likely that you still can get pregnant the day after o.

We bd'd the day before ov and baby is measuring as conceived the day after x

Well going by the measurements at private scan the dates don't really add up.
We dtd once on 22nd dec and thought I ov about 24th and got bfp 1st/2nd jan. Their dates would indicate conception later but unlikely id get such an early bfp.
I'm waiting for my nhs scan which will probably be even further out but I'm just going by lmp for now.
At the end of the pregnancy a few days either way won't make my baby arrive any sooner.
