BFP...now light brown discharge!!

Ok ladies...I need some reassurance because I'm freaking out here! I've had BFP's since 10 dpo and even had it confirmed at the doc's yesterday. I'm now 14 dpo and I have very light brown spotting mixed with creamy/watery CM...has this happened to anyone else and if so was it normal? There's no red blood and I've had only mild cramping on and off but nothing painful.

I can't help but freak out though!

Hi Hon,

Check on your progesterone levels.. If the levels are low, u might have lil spotting like this.. If untreated, its not good..
But there is nothing to panic, if u figure out that u have low progeterone levels, then ur Dr will prescribe u pills(like Prometrium) for certain period.. As soon as u start taking it, ur levels will go up and spotting will stop automatically..

I had discharge just like that, brownish and mixed with mucous. It was probably around the same dpo. I only had it for a couple of bathroom trips in one day. It's a very normal symptom of pregnancy. I was never informed of my progesterone levels, but if you are concerned, be sure to call and talk to your doctor about what you should do. That's the best way to feel assured! It is not considered normal, but it is considered to be common. Let your doctor know, and then get your progesterone levels checked. It could be that, implantation bleeding, or a number of other things.

I spotted/bled until I was 10 weeks pregnant, and they never found out why. Please let your doctor know though so s/he can run bloods and give you peace of mind.

I had that for the 4 days where my period should have been. It's very common/normal although it freaked me out a bit!

I had it with my first pregnancy, it started off as a brown discharge, then i had a small bleed, bright red blood a couple days later, i rang the docs, (i had no cramping or pain) they sent me for a scan and everything was fine, my daughter is now 2! xx

I had spotting 3 times so far in my pregnancy and I've still got to week 11, I saw baby at week 8 and it had a hearbeat and everything was fine

I had exactly the same. BFP at 10dpo then cramping on and off till 14dpo, a tiny bit of very light brown spotting when wiping and then it seems to have settled down. It didn't stop me freaking out but it does seem to be common.
