BFP with brown discharge/spotting?

I got a clear BFP today (10dpo) and was over the moon. My LP is short, so I was expecting AF tomorrow.

But, to my horror, when I went to the bathroom just an hour later, I noticed brown discharge. It's now been going on all day. Not a lot, but noticeable. Plus, my periods usually start out with brown discharge. Has anyone had this and remained pregnant? I am so nervous.

I have personally never had spotting with a BFP and had it end well. Now, with that said, my sister spotted through the entire first trimester with one of her kids, and birthed a happy, healthy baby girl.

Brown spotting can be old blood from an IB . I bled heavily between weeks 7 and 11 . All is Ok now. Hope It is for you

I think that's what's happening to me now except Internet cheapie was BFn . I had brown spotting 5 days ago that lasted 3 days then stopped and have been having back ache ect .... I don't want to get my hopes up
