Big baby?

I had my scan on Thursday, and they said Jake weighs over 5lbs already and was measuring 35+1 instead of 34+2. I'm really uncomfortable as it is and it's making me feel really sick to think I still have to get to 40 weeks cause by then he'll probably be even bigger. And what if I'm overdue! Has anyone had their baby measure ahead and been born ahead of their due date? Or know of anyone who has? I really hope I don't have to wait that long! Depressed with how uncomfortable I am!

Oh good, I'm just thinking if he's 5lbs now I could imagine him being overdue and something like 10lbs and that would be a nightmare!

did they plot it on the line thing in your notes? as if they did you can get a rough estimate of how big baby will be at 40 weeks,my lil girl was 8lbs at 38 weeks nd if had got to 40 weeks she was estimated to weigh 8lb 11oz

Their weight predictions aren't always 100% correct hun
I wouldn't worry though, his weight gain could slow down these next few weeks before birth.
