So I just want to say I am so rubbish at writing things like this, and my timing will be wrong as I was in so much pain and didn't really think about the timing.:dohh:

Thursday 18th Jan, I was having bad braxton hicks which started to come very frequent and much stronger every 2-3 mins, I told the midwife about it and she just didn't really acknowledge it and told me to only call when my waters broke so yeah I felt like a plonker but I was just worried as my daughter hadn't been moving as much.
Later on in the evening the pain just started to become more like period pains it wasn't nice and my mum just said it was all apart of the pregnancy and I was probably having her sooner than later as I was 37+2 weeks.

Around 10pm I was complaining about the pain even more and decided to ring the hospital even though my mum tried to stop me, she just thought I was exaggerating about my pain but I was genuinely feeling so crap I couldn't eat or do nothing I couldn't even concentrate on the television :/ So I rang my hospital and they asked if she was moving as much I told them no and so they told me to come in.. I went in and the pain was so bad I couldn't keep still I was walking around and around just breathing heavily and trying to concentrate on the pain that's when I knew I was in labour.

A lovely midwife soon checked me and monitored Aliyah, turned out she was all okay and it was just me, so she monitored my contractions and could see they were getting stronger and more frequent and checked to see how dilated I was, I was only 1cm dilated so she gave me a sweep and some strong pain killers then sent me home until my waters broke, in this point I was devestated as the pain killers weren't working but just making me dizzy and drowsy everytime I drift off the contractions woke me up and that's how I knew I wasn't going to sleep that night.

15 minutes after being home I had my bloody show but my mum told me to wait til my waters broke just incase they sent us back home, I was all over the place I was feeling like I needed to push which was very similar to the feeling of needing a poo. Finally my waters broke and I was back in hospital, I flung myself on the bed and I was just so ready to get this baby out by then I was begging for them to let me start pushing but nobody believed I needed to push until they saw I was actually 9cm dilated.:growlmad:

So they gave me gas and air and told me my daughter had done a big poo inside of me so I needed to get her out as soon as possible as she was stressing and so was I, so then 5 minutes later I was told to push (although I was secretly pushing before i just couldn't help it) I was pushing for 20 minutes in which she came out and I pooed myself also according to my mum :laugh2:, anyway she was then born at 5.09am and I had 3 stitches in which I am still recovering from but she is very very VERY much worth the pain i went and still am going through:cloud9:.

The gas and air helped me so much I thought I would need an epidural but honestly the gas and air gave me such a high I could feel pain still but it wasn't so bad.:)

Oh and I can honestly say I will do it all again for some strange reason:haha:
