I used a birthing ball when pregnant last time, didn't really use it during labour as couldn't bear it but did bounce on it alot durings evenings watching tele etc. I'm not completely convinced that it did anything moving my daughter down lower and so on but I did find it comfortable! Anyway I've dug it out to blow up to use again but don't know whether I should bother. Who else is using one?

Me - sometimes it's the only way I can get comfy - not really using it for any other reason, baby is already head down.

I use mine but just because it makes me feel better that im trying to do something lol i am not good at sitting around and waiting so if I'm doing something even it doesn't do anything i feel better

Me! But it aches my back as I go on it for ages! Xx

I try to when I can, as i find it comfortable. Plus, its good for your posture. I end up slouching on the sofa.

However, my little toddler is making it a lot more difficult this time. She gets excited when she sees me sit on the ball and wants to play or sit on my lap!

It's good for positioning so worth using even if just to sit on xx

I've dug mine out of the attic but it's not blown up yet. I'm thinking of using it as a foot-stool to keep my legs up more than owt else lol

I just got one to help me with my back pain (I have back issues to start so the extra weight is already causing discomfort). I'll sit on it and lie back on it instead of sitting on the couch after a long day at work sitting in a chair!
