I've posted this in work and finance but a lot of you are in the same situation as me so will probably know more.

Currently with the 'rents but am moving out. I only work 16 hours a week and earn only about £350 a month. I also get working and Child tax credits.

Would I be entitled to housing allowance? I can't go to CAB just now as my car is well and truely stuck.

Thought voices of experinces would know best:flower:

I live with my OH and together (with tax credits) we earn around £1300 a month and we get £87 every 2 weeks for housing benefit. I think you would surely get alot more! Our LHA is £109 a week but we dont qualify for it all as we earn too much. xx

yeh you'll definitely get something for housing benefit maybe not the whole amount cos of your hours. you may also be able to apply for a housing association house cos i know a lot of provate landlords dont let out to those receiving housing benefit

Mine is a private landlord and he takes housing benefit but as you said not all of them take it, have you applied with your local council? x
