Bit worried that my bump has dropped already...Inc pics

Im 30+5 today and To me it looks like my bump has already dropped. Does that mean baby will come early? Heres a pic of me at 29 weeks, and one taken today. Does my bump look lower??

Could just be the way baby is inside you...not necessarily that it dropped.

Does look a bit lower hun but baby is maybe just in a different position. My bump is also very low (has been from the start). I'm used to having babies stuck up round my ribs!
When's ur next appointment? Hopefully they can tell you where baby is lying

Love your bump! I can't say that i looks much different, but I was reading about baby engaging and it says in my books that if baby engages early, not to worry cos this doesn't mean baby will come early xx

Thanks ladies. For some reason I've been saying all along that this baby might come early (probably because from all the running after the twins and lifting them, I seem to thi baby will come early), so when I noticed my bump looking lower, I started to worry.

Mrs R, I have another scan next week, so I'm sure they'll be able to tell me what's going on. Hopefully my intuition is wrong and shell stay put until at least I'm 37 weeks! Xxx

Hun - mine keeps dropping and popping back up. It's normal for subsequent babies to keep popping in and out of your pelvis until birth (Midwife said the other day she could feel Phoebe doing it the other day). Some babies can lock in from 28 weeks and not come out for another 14 weeks - it just depends on them etc Try not to panic

Thanks Hun. It's weird cos even though she's my fourth baby (third pregnancy) in some ways feels like my first experience of things as I've never gone into labour naturally. I was induced with the boys at 36+3 and 37 weeks so I won't know the signs of things starting ant going into labour! The bump dropping, combined with the severe nesting I've had the last week or so got me worried!

Mines dropped and baby is very low into my pelvis (midwife confirmed today). Not sure if it means she'll be arriving early would be interesting to know. Although I presume it's to do with LO individually xx

I've had 2 preemies, and I can tell you your bump dropping is not a sign of preterm labor.
