black poo?!?!

hi guys im beth and my daughter is 7 months ! the last couple of days my daughter has been doing tar like black poos can anyone tell me why ?? i cook her food but we were away for over a week so she was on jars is it something to do with changing from jars back to fresh fruit and veg???

she eats weetabix and fruit in the morning with her formula milk and for lunch veggies and chicken or mince and a baby yoghurt (this is new to her diet could this be a problem) and same for dinner except fruit afterwards?

I hear bananas give poos with black bits??

Annas poos are always very dark - maybe it is just normal?

My LO went through a phase of having really black poo.

I was worried she was overeating because this can cause black poo but I don't think she was. Also she wasn't drinking much water so I tried upping that & sometimes adding juice...tbh though I still struggle to get her to drink it.

The black poo seems to have passed in the last month or so. I've not been much help have I

All in all I dont think you need to worry unless there is blood in her poo or she is in pain when passing it!
