Bleeding 10 days after D&C

Hi Ladies,

I had my D&C 11 days ago. I only had light spotting for about 3-4 days after the procedure and then nothing until yesterday. It started off brown and has gotten heavier gradually since then. Today is full blown period like bleeding with lots of clots. Since I am supposed to have my follow appointment today I called to see if my Dr. still wanted to see me even though I am bleeding. The nurse said yes and that it sounds like my period has started. She said once your levels get to zero you get your period. I wasn't expecting to get my period for 4-6 weeks but I guess everyone is different.
Since I wont be seeing my Dr. till this afternoon, I was wondering how common it was to get a period after such a short time?

HCG levels are 116 so not period - just left over stuff

After both my D&C s it took me around 4 -5 weeks before I got my period!

I didn't get my period until 6 weeks after my D&C. There might be some leftovers in which case another D&C might be appropriate. I didn't bleed at all after mine.

I bled for about 2 weeks after mine and my period arrived 3 weeks after the bleeding stopped.
