Bleeding & cramping @ 16w (positive outcome)

I went to the bathroom this afternoon and had some red bleeding followed by cramps. I called my ob & they saw me within a few hours for a scan. Everything looks great with baby. My placenta is low lying and what likely caused the bleed. It should move on it's own and they were not overly concerned. It's common to have cramping with any bleeding. I just wanted to make a thread just in case anyone else has a similar concern. Reassurance that it's not always bad news!
