Bleeding mid cycle after chemical pregnancy

Hi all,

I had a chemical pregnancy last month that resulted in a 34 day cycle, I usually average a 29 day cycle or 28 but it can vary. Did not test to see when I ovulated after this period and only saw a tiny hint of ewcm on one day. We dtd around 4/5 times which was over the period I thought would be leading up to ovulation and over the time I saw the tiny bit of ewcm, then about 2 days after last day of dtd I woke up in the middle of the night with some strong what felt like cystitis and had a mild fever and I was shocked to have a load of brown jelly like cm streaked with stringy red blood when I wiped! I have never ever had mid cycle spotting like this ever, this was on and off throughout the day, after the initial lot it was usually just stingy red blood like stuff, it got less and less then over the next 3 days I had a very small amount of stringy red once or twice in the day.

Has anyone else had similar? could it be because of the chemical the previous month? Surely it would be to early for implantation bleeding? And if it was implantation bleeding surely I would be getting symptoms by now as the bleeding stopped a few days ago.

Any opinions or experiences welcome. Please don't tell me to go to the doctors, I have already been and it's one of those things I just have to wait and see what happens, just interested to see if anyone else has had anything similar.

Nothing similar but didn't want to read and run. Chemical pregnancies have been known to really mess up cycles so anything is possible. Good luck to you, really. I hope you get the answers you need.

So did you get any answers to this? I'm no in the same boat with what seems like stringy period on cd17 after getting a bfp after a very light period in the previous cycle. I also got ewcm and was busy dtd when it arrived to stop us in the middle of the earlier thot-window

Just that you did got bfp with the mid-cycle bleeding. Congrats. Would be really great if you could tell me if u did BD after the bleeding to catch that eggie? I generally O between cd14-17 and I got this bleeding yestr at cd17....so wondering if I should try more (though difficult with bleeding on ) Also i had clomid too so just not sure what to make of this!

Its hard to say if its from the chem or if your pregnant again. As stated above, chemicals can really mess up your cycles and maybe your body still was getting rid of stuff. On the other hand, after a chemical you have a higher chance of getting pregnant. Maybe you Od earlier then normal because of it. I suggest test if you havent already. And if you have wait a few days and test again. Not everyone has pregnancy symptoms right away or even at all so you cant base it on not having symptoms.

I get this alot. to my knowledge I have not had a chemical pregnancy- but I suffer from mid cycle bleeding a lot. I have no idea why as I am waiting to book an appointment for a colposcopy

Finally someone I can mildly relate to. So I had something like this in feb. I am pretty sure I o'd on the 15th then had bleeding on the 19th which looked like a extremely light period. Mixture of brown pink and reds.. 5 days later it stopped and around this time pms symptoms normally kick im but for some strange reason I got whole new set of symptoms which honestly lead me to believe I was pregnant.

I took a test on the 23rd and it was negative and then again on 1st March which is normally when Af comes.. again negative. Im waiting for AF still. Im on day 35 now. I feel like my body is broken!

The doctor has referred me for some blood tests so I will pop down on Tuesday.

I don't recall ever having a chemical or I've never noticed.
