I am 10 days past iui but had a little bleeding today which was bright red. Have been taking progesterone supplements and doc has asked me increase dosage. Doc sys it might not last but if it does then obviously it is AF. I am confused. Can my AF come early bcos of progesterone. Am still getting AF symptoms headache, nausea, slight cramping. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hiya
Progesterone can do the opposite and delay AF. I have experienced this first hand with natural progesterone cream.
Hope this helps and GL!!!

Thanks for ur reply Mummytofour. But I cant understand why I wud bleed on day 24. My periods are sooooooo regular its scary. They always come on day 28 at 4.30 PM. I am very confused. My doc has advised me to increase the tablet Susten 200 from 2 a day to 3 a day. This tablet apparently stops miscarriages. Do u think this can be one? Is a miscarriage even possible before day 28 of a cycle?

Hiya, I'm not sure if this helps and its not very positive I'm afraid but I got AF 11dpiui with my first one last month so that was a 22 day cycle and I'm always 28 days too. BUT, I wasn't on progesterone which is why they have put me on them this time. I'm not sure why IUI would bring AF quicker, but it did for me.

I hope yours is more positive - I'm sure its a different situation because you are on progesterone. Fingers crossed that the bleeding stops now.

xx

Bleeding has stopped for now. But have this horrible heavy feeling around the stomach. Like the AF is stuck :-( Doc sys not to jump the gun and hang on and take it easy for 3-4 days and not move very much..Lets see

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself. :hugs: :hugs: Are you planning to try IUI again on your next cycle?
xx
