Hi, on Sunday my daughter was very constipated and straining alot, she was in alot of pain so we took her A&E stupidly thinking we could get her medication, unfortunately they don't give out medication on a Sunday. She was put on movicol but I couldnt get her any till Monday, She manged to pass a stool around midnight, I noticed red blood on the stool so I took her docs Monday, they explained it was probably a tear as she strained and not to worry but today she had red flecks right inside her poop, nothing on the stool or toilet paper just deep inside the stool. She hasn't had anything red to eat since Friday, I'm so worried now.

DD1 has suff constipation since she was a few months old like yours ended up in a and e but we were given a laxitve for her. Its only got better now she's fully toilet trained. Shes had blood on the outer of her stools too but never in it.

Has she been tested for Cealic Disease and other Bowel Issues?!. This would be the first test I would ask for.

It could just be because she was constipated she was more blocked up than you thought and could just be undigested food.

I would take her to the GP again and explain the situation. Keep giving her the movicol although its a pain at first until you get the best dosage for her!.

Hope all goes well and she feels better soon x
