Hi ladies,
I had my midwife appointment today at 37+3 and in less than a week my blood pressure had gone up further from 130/88 to 138/90, I started out at 120/70 at my first booking and in 2nd tri it went down to 110/70 at its lowest. I also had other tests done last week and there was protein in urine but only a small amount which she was not concerned about all other blood tests were fine and showed no signs of pre-e. I have had severe swelling in feet and calves up to my knees. My midwife has said I have pregnancy induced hypertension and if it is higher at my next appointment that I will be monitored at the hospital for a plan of action.
I guess what I am wanting to know is has anyone else been through this... and what was the outcome. Were you put on bedrest, meds or induced? Just wanting an idea as to what could lie ahead for me as she stated at this point it will only go up? She did indicate that I would not go further than 40w max if it rises.
Any input or experience would be much appreciated
