Blood thinners and labour

Anybody any advice?

I'm 39+4 and on preventative tinzaparin (4500 units daily) as I had multiple bilateral PEs after DS1.

I've been told not to take tinz if I think I could be going in to labour.

Saturday morning things seemed to have started so didn't have it. Labour started Saturday night but stopped itself. Still tightening Sunday morning so avoided it again...and then this morning I've been up since early hours with cramping etc so not taken for a 3rd day...but how long do I do this for?!?! Xx

The advice is probably going to vary depending on why you are on thinners in the first place. I'm on them too but for slightly different reasons. I would contact the hospital and ask for advice.
