Blood?!

Okay. Sort of freaking out. I've been having a feeling that somethings wrong this last week, and just now I went #2 and I'm bleeding. It's red and mixed with CM… What do I dooooooo?!?!?!?! I don't have any unusual cramping and I'm still sick to the stomach with a crazy headache.

So far it's a light bleed, no clots. My periods usually show up between the 4-10th every month.

Could it be from straining during a bm?
Fingers crossed its nothing !!
I would go to the emergency though just to be safe

I had this at 6.5 weeks.. It turned brown for me the next time I checked. My doctor didn't seem concerned. I am waiting on my next scan to make sure everything is all good. I know how stressful it is! Call your doctor or go to the ER if you are worried

I think I'll be going to the docs tomorrow to see whats going on. I don't think there is much they can do anyways besides order another blood test. Luckily my scan is coming up next week… fx theres something and it's alive

Hoping everything is ok.......

Late last night I had a gush of bright red blood -tinged mucus. Had a bit of pink mucus today. Luckily I have my first ultrasound tomorrow morning, so I figured there was no point in calling anywhere/etc... I will let you know what they say. My understanding is that a lot of the time, it's really 'nothing' and all is fine. I am really, really hoping that is the case.....

I've had bleeding with bm, last time was at 15+4. If you have a sensitive cervix or a blood vessel close to the surface it doesn't take much to bleed. I had an ultrasound after the third bleed and everything thankfully was ok. I'm hoping same is the case for you.

Any update?

I had an ultrasound this morning and he said he saw the flickering of the heart (it was only an abdominal one unfortunately, pretty unclear picture and hard to see - but he said he saw it at one point, and I asked him a couple times to be sure haha)... He didn't really make me feel better about the blood, but knowing that the heart is beating is enough reassurance for me right now.

So, blood can def be ok..... It's not ALWAYS a bad sign.

Sorry this is happening to you. I agree though, its more than likely ok. Your cervix is super sensitive right now so any straining can cause a small bleed.

With my first I FREAKED at like 8 weeks when I had a little bit of bleeding. Turned out it was caused by having sex, and a blood vessel on my cervix ruptured. But I know how scary it is when you see it.

I've had spotting- pink, red and brown blood in cm from 5-7 weeks - each day! I was so scared but I had a scan on Monday and all looked good so far.Hope everything is OK. I know how worrying it is

Thank you, Ella That definitely puts my mind at ease! I'm glad everything is okay for you.

This morning the blood was brown. Hoping that's the end of it and it was just a vein or something, anything, other than a MC. I nearly had a heart attack but all of you have put my mind at ease. If the bleeding doesn't stop I'll definitely be going in to the doctors just to check, but so far it's not an alarming amount.

Just kidding. Of course after I say that…. I now have a lot more brown blood coming out and now it's clotted. I'm so scared…. sigh.

I would call the doc or emergency just to be checked over. I've had bleeding this pregnancy but so far all ok but I've also had bleeding with a mc so it's not always bad but I would get checked out if I were you. Fingers crossed all is ok

didn't want to read and run ...I really hope it's nothing serious. I think you should call your doctor and get checked out regardless. it's worth the peace of mind.

For those of you who are wondering. After one heck of a long day and being passed from doctor to specialist to emergency and all that lovely stuff… I got a "i could or couldn't be miscarrying" but they found a heartbeat. So for now it's in there, I've been restricted to "bed rest" for the next week and if I have a fever and a lot of bleeding then it's 100% a miscarriage. But so far they labeled me as a threatened miscarriage.. Still waiting on my hcg results to see what's going on there. Will be going in for blood work every 3 days until further notice.

I've had bleeding with all my pregnancies and they always label a pregnancy with any bleeding a threatened miscarriage as standard procedure. I say this to make you feel a bit better. It's a great sign they saw the heartbeat and that brings the chance of actual miscarriage down under 5%. Unfortunately miscarriages happen at any time but statistically it's much less likely at this point. H& h rest of your pregnancy!

That's such great news that they found the heartbeat ! I'm betting everything is going to be okay
Has the bleeding stopped ?
