That's right. I had a moment of morning sickness induced wretching come on so quickly today that in putting the seat up to puke, I managed to rebound it off the back of the toilet and into my mouth, bloodying my lip. At the moment, I cried at the cruelty. Now, I'm laughing. Just thought those of us fighting nerves or the joyous pregnancy ailments (not sarcastic), or both could benefit from the laugh.

Ah bless you I know how you feel, I found myself huddled over the toilet a couple of days ago crying because I hate being sick but also feeling happy because I didn't get sickness with my miscarriage

At the point in time I was still in limbo as I did get morning sickness with my mmc and we'd yet to hear the all beautiful heartbeat. It's even funnier now that I have. Oh the story I'll have to tell when this little one is 12 or 13 ;). Though I must say, I was very careful not to repeat the toilet seat mishap after tonight's vomit fest. Trying to settle the heartburn and churning so I can go to sleep. Yay pregnancy miseries!

Definitely a story to tell by the fire in the future. Hehe.

I plan on it. The child, currently dubbed Hobbit for her insistence on my needing to eat second breakfasts and such, has at least kindly given me enough warning to spare such maiming since then. I think she realized it's counter productive to take mommy out at this point in the game.
