Can anyone recommend books about maternity and/or parenting?

For maternity, I want a book that is realistic but not unnecessarily alarming. E.g., I have heard that some books harp on unlikely symptoms, etc., and are more likely to increase your anxiety about being pregnant.

How can I find objective information about the various parenting styles (e.g., Ferber versus Sears)? Are any of them based on actual science, or is it all subjective?

I have the your pregnancy week by week and I find it good, and its set up really well

Also pregnancy and child birth secrets by Gail Dahl is an awesome book to add In, it's approach is that pregnancy and birth a a natural process in a woman's life , it's really good
