What books, podcasts, YouTube series, or other media do you like to read, watch or listen to while you re WTT?

For myself:
Books - what to expect when you are expecting (read twice!), and I just ordered taking charge of your fertility, and What to expect the first year.
Podcasts - Pregtastic, Preggie Pals ( and not really related to pregnancy but awesome podcasts: Things your should know and Stuff your mom never told you)

I stay away from the What to Expect... books, this is a list of books I bought when I found out I was pregnant with my son and I really enjoy them even now to prepare for our second babe! :)

Sleeping with Your Baby: A Parent's Guide to Cosleeping by James J. McKenna
The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by La Leche League
Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering: A Doctor's Guide to Natural Childbirth and Gentle Early Parenting Choices by Sarah Buckley M.D.
Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin
Before Your Pregnancy: A 90 Day Guide for Couples on How to Prepare for a Healthy Conception by my Ogle, Lisa Mazzullo
Birthing from Within: An Extra-Ordinary Guide to Childbirth Preparation by Pam England, Rob Horowitz
The Complete Book of Pregnancy and Childbirth by Sheila Kitzinger
Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way by Susan McCutcheon-Rosegg

I have heard about Birthing from Within, so I will definitely pick that up as well. And have you used the Bradley method? I really like the idea of my husband coaching me in labour and kind of being a 'team' throughout the pregnancy, and I got the impression the Bradley method included the husband a lot. Is that true? I will pick up that book too and check it out!

Yup, it definitely includes your husband A LOT! My husband was actually pretty skeptical when I asked him to read it and to coach me in labour, but after he read that book, he was all over it :haha: He told me it was the one way he could actually participate in our son's birth so I think it ended up meaning a lot him. I was in labour for 17 hours, and after my son was born, my husband was in tears after it all. I also think it brought us much closer together and made the birth that more special :)

I LOVE that. I remember telling my DH what a Doula was and I said "kind of like a birth coach" and he said, "we won't need that, that's my job"!
Good thing I'm WTT, because I have lots of reading to do now :D
