Sorry to section jump! I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Boots own brand nappies? They seem very reasonably priced but I don't want to stock up on a couple of packs if they are useless! xxx

Sorry hun but they're rubbish :(
I've just had to finish using one packet and they're like cardboard and not a very good fit!xx

Never tried them but what I tend to do with nappies is buy a small pack and see what they are like before committing to the larger packs

I thought 2 packs for £4 was too good to be true :dohh: thanks! xx

yeh been told that some own shop brand nappies arent a good purchase.Sainsburys were always fine i used them with my first,i started off buying brand name nappies and then after that found a shop brand nappy that was brill and value for money.

Hehe it's okay! It does depend on the baby though too. Jake is really good in Pampers but some people find them rubbish. Huggies are also rubbish on him.
I think it just depends, case of trial and error!x

I found boots ones rubbish too! but also pampers weren't great for us, the best i found were tesco own brand while he was still size 1+2 not as good in the size 3's though.
What we did was a buy a couple of packets of every brand really, and then stuck with the best ones.
All nappies seem to be different on different babies iykwim, so i would hold onto them, but get a few different brands to have aswell!:hugs:

Ive heard lots of people saying that asda own brand nappies are good but i personally have never used them, but their wipes are tons better than huggies, pampers, johnsons etc and are 4 for £3 lol!! Wish i would have found that out in the beginning not 7 months down the line lol.

Anywhoo, i get pampers! You can get them very cheap if you get the mega boxes that often go on offer in the baby events etc and i have found them to be tons better than huggies (hard, leaky, cardboard like!) but all babas are different and different brands suit different shaped bums! So the best advice is to get a small pack of different brands and test them out :)

Hi I used asda'd little angels nappies a few times in size 3 and 4 and I really liked them they r my favourite nappies to be honest I also liked tesco's and boots own brand but found diff sizes to be different quality if you know what I mean? I think it was size 3 tesco nappied I didn't like but size 4 were fine, same ad pampers and huggies I preferred huggies newborn to pampers but then preferred pampers in size 4+

Boots were awful - they seemed too short, asda and tesco were great now I prefer pampers but only buy on offer

WSS! They are a very hard paper and not nice next to the skin at all. They also seem really small (LO in size3) whereas size 3 pampers are generous on her. Tesco are my favourite: cut the same as Pampers but good all over absorbancy. Never tried Asda but loads of people on here rave about them.

I loved the boots nappies. I only used them in size 1 but found them fantastic. Not gotten on with huggies or sainsburys own brand but find tescos are good too
xx

Oh dear it seems it's just a lot of trial and error :dohh: I think I'll try them since they are 2 24 packs for £3, it's not going to be terrible if I decide I don't like them!

You have all made me realise that I should try out different brands though instead of just buying Pampers ;) thanks girls! xx

i just stick to pampers,i think they are good & worth the money :) x

When LO was born we used Boots size 0 - They were brill!! never leaked but I havnt used any other size boots nappies sorry xxx

i stocked up on boots own brand when pregnant. i hate them! but im tying to use them to get rid of them. dont buy them!

I wasn't impressed with the boots ones but people like different ones so they might be good for your little one
