What bottles do you use? I'm looking into switching from dr. brown bottles because 1) they are leaking 2) so many parts to clean and 3) SO many parts to clean!

We use dr.browns, they've been a godsend for us as we were dealing with quite bad colic!! Tried Avent and Tommee Tippee but couldnt get on with either, both made baby so windy. I agree though, it does take longer to clean the dr.browns!! sometimes it does feel like a chore lol x

We are using Dr Browns and they are working great, no problems with leaking and there is only really one extra bit to clean (the blue middle bit).
I don't mix the formula in the Dr Brown bottle though I use the tommy tippie and pour it in :) xxx

I don't mix the formula in them either. I use a pitcher. With twins we go through so many bottles and formula that I have to premake it all. I was just trying to find some kind of bottles that took less time to clean because at the moment thats all I do is feed them and clean the bottles. Thanks though.

We use Playtex Ventaire. There's 4 pieces total - base, vent, bottle, nipple. But they aren't hard to clean at all. I love them - we switched from the Medela bottles cause LO was having gas issues with the Medela ones. The Ventaires have been great!

Mam self sterilising bottles:) I spend about 3 minutes per day washing them, also no need for a steriliser. Tommee tippee made my LO really gassy xx

I use Tommee Tippee, for no other reason than they looked cute in the store and are easy to buy around here. I never planned to bottle feed and just bought them in case I need to give some expressed milk. Now that we have switched to formula, they seem to work great. They're easy to clean and my daughter has rarely had any stomach issues or colic. I think most are as good as any other as long as they seem to work for you.

I use tommy tippee LO has had no problems on them and they are easy to clean in the electric sterilizer x

Born Free - the markings actually stay on, the nipples don't collapse even without too many parts, they don't leak, and they work great in a sterilizer. :flower:

Our favorite (we only use a bottle once a day) has been the FREE (can't beat that!) Similac ones I got in the mail. They never have leaked. Tommie Tippie works pretty good now that LO is better at bottles (used to squirt all over her face). That's the only bottle we actually bought. Last week I used two coupons for free Babies R Us bottles and they are unbelievably horrible, leaking, collapsed nipples. Ugh. My poor mother had to use one (all we brought) when she babysat LO, it sucked equally with breastmilk and formula.
I ever knew a bottle could be evil :haha:

We have three different kinds of bottles. We started with two when we bought them before LO was born (in case one didnt work out). But the three we have are Tommee Tippee, Airvent, and Similac. We got the Similac ones last (and free!) and they are our favorite ones. But we havent had any problems with the Airvent ones (but I do think the parts are a pain to clean if you hand-wash). The TT ones worked well but sometimes the vent hole plugged up.

Thank you for all the input! I recently got some of the playtex nurser bottles and they aren't woking out. My girls don't latch on to the breast like nipples at all. They were fed from day one with small bottle nipples like the dr brown ones so I'm now on the search for bottles that offer this kind of nipple. Either that of I'm going to have to suck it up and stick with dr brown bottles.

Surprised nobody else has said it: the cheap bottles by Evenflo and Gerber! They are easy to clean, super cheap, and the parts are compatible between the two and with Medela pumps and accessories. My favorite are the 8 oz glass Evenflo bottles that I bought a set of 3 for $5.99 at KMart, with a pack of 4 extra nipples for $3. Just be careful as the 9 oz Gerber bottles come with medium flow nipples. The bigger Evenflo glass bottles came with slow flow.

They look about the size to be compatible with Dr. Brown parts, too.

I saw those glass ones! I think they would hold up well but wasn't sure about the nipples, if they were any good or not. Thanks!
