I was recently in tesco and seen that tommee tippee has got new bottle warmers out. But im confused as i make up bottles fresh and cool them down which is tedious especially for night feeds. I use Aptamil from birth and it says to do it this way. So how does everyone else make up their bottles to use the bottle warmer, as i believe i cant make up for example 5 bottles and store in the fridge then use the tommee tippee bottle warmer???? so confused, can anyone help please?

I make up bottles in advance and store them in the fridge, then warm as needed in the bottle warmer. Lots of ladies here will tell you they do the same thing. It's all down to personal preference though.

Am I correct in thinking that they market the bottle warmers as something to warm up expressed breast milk?

I dont use a bottle warmer but i make all bottles up with boiling water and formula. I then cool them down in a filled sink of freezing cold water, pop them in the fridge and then warm them up in a jug of boiled water. :)

I make up the bottles with boiled water and leave it to cool. Then add the powder as and when I require a feed. For nights I have some tommee tippee tubs that i put the scoops of powder in and take them upstairs with the bottles of cooled boiled water. Then when little one wakes for feed I pour the powder into the bottle then I have a tommee tippee flask thats on offer in tesco atm for £6.66 and at night just pour the hot water out into the top bit and place the bottle in it for 1/2mins and then et volia instant warm feed :)

similar I also take cooled boiled water upstairs already in the bottles and the little tubs of powdered milk.
When LO wakes I pour tub into bottle, shake then heat in TT bottle warmer.
It only normally takes 3 blasts that way where as I it's been in fridge takes a lot longer to warm and LO gets impatient!
