At the minute I have the Tommee Tippee CTN 260ml bottles and hate them!! I am looking to replace them but am not sure which ones to buy. I don't like the narrow bottles so would like wide-neck ones. Also Bella doesn't have a problem with colic so don't need any special requirements.

Any recommendations?

Has anyone tried the mothercare steriliser bottles? They seem like a good idea as we are often at friends houses and often away for the night and these seem great as we wouldn't need to cart a steriliser around with us.

sorry, no advice on the bottles as we use the CTN ones no problem.

We bought the mothercare bottles you mention to keep at grandparent houses and so far have used the one at my mums twice. It was quick and easy to use and my LO took it without any issues. :)

I could send you an Avent one if you want to try it? Still using the bigger ones but I've got some 4oz ones (will fit 5oz in - I know they're not big enough to use but just to see if she likes them?) x

Dr Brown bottles are great - a bit fiddly to wash but they were the only bottles that my daughter would take without getting sick everywhere.

i cannot recommend Dr Brown enough hun.
i bought tommee tippee closer to nature ones - anti colic - and i thought they were terrible. i have been using Dr Brown for a few days now and the difference in Ali's wind is amazing!
defo worth the money!

I have the playtex drop ins for his night feeding as it resembles the mothers nipple and during the day he gets the NUBY bottle with the teething nipple works wonders

I thought the CTN bottles were cr@p until i decided to replace them with the boots wide neck bottle (wanted traditional shaped teat as after using steri-bottles over a camping weekend. Jack seemed more content, feeding more in a shorter space of time, so I thought he preferred the shape. Looking back now, I think it is the flow of the teat:dohh:) - what a mistake - he was swallowing so much air & taking EVEN longer to drink a feed, he was giving up half way through:dohh: So I have gone back to the CTN, & can see so much of a difference, I will never moan again! It does make it easier that Jack doesn't have a problem with his wind anymore so doesn't need an anti-colic system or anything like that anymore. He did have lots of trapped wind when he was younger though, so if buying for a newborn I wouldn't recommend.

Thanks for the offer, i mentioned it to a friend yesterday and she gave me an avent one to try later on. We tried it last night and she wasn't keen at all! Not sure if it was the teat- medium flow with 2 holes but she was really slow drinking it. Think i will buy some of those mothercare bottles and try them and if i hate them i've always got my CTN to fall back on and can just use them when out and about at friends etc.

Thanks for all your replies!
