I already have two daughters and after the first, I learned quickly that life is so much easier if you stick to one brand of bottles. I also found the type of bottle I liked more and felt was more "natural" (as natural as a bottle can be compared to the breast). So I like the Bigger/Thicker bottles with the bigger nipples. Not the thinner ones. My daughters also expressed that they like the bigger ones as well (we bottle fed for awhile).

I'm also curious about the drop in kind (the ones with the bags). Never tried but wonder how they are.

Before we were using a type of Gerber bottle but now the are discontinued.

So now I'm on the market for a new brand. Babies R Us sells several new brands that are in the style I like but am unsure so I'd like your opinions.

Tommee Tippees

Playtex Drop Ins

Gerber Nuk (my girls never liked the curved nipple though)

Not a fan of Dr Browns (think they are overpriced and a waste of money).

Advent is also an option. If you know of any other brands, please let me know!

Any opinions? I'd like to pick a brand now in case I run in to any sales and want to start stocking up

Thanks!

Dr browns wide neck. I tried TT & avent but were bad for my Los wind & reflux. Worth the investment

I have to agree with this, Erin was a different baby once she went onto Dr Browns.

It is just a personal choice i think, all babies take different to different bottles. My friend used Dr browns and her child hated them.

I use Avent with my LO now he can take a bottle and these are fine. I have the anti colic ones and you can see the bubbles going back into the bottle rather than in to LO.

I have tried loads of brands over both of mine and my absolute fave is Mam Ultivent anti colic bottles!Worked better than Dr Browns in my opinion.xx

Dr. Brown's here. At first washing the extra bits was a pain, but I've gotten used to it, and Lily just seems to feed better with them than the Avent.

i use doctor browns too so sorry im prob no help.
i didnt like the tt or tt anti colic.
the doctor browns are the only one lo will take properly
:flower:

i use the tommee tippee closer to nature ones with the anti colic valve and i think they're great xx

i use tommee tippee closer to nature (the pink ones ) and also tommee tippee Nuby - the weird soft bottles, i love love love these, but dh thinks they are freaky pmsl

I got the TT closer to nature ones and I LOVE them...I have a few blue ones cause they look so nice. lol

Tommee tippie I find them easy to use, LO feeds alot betterout of them They don't leak, and their easy to wash and steralise. I bought 4 dr.brown bottels and I found them awfull to use personally xx

i too found dr browns awkward, overpriced and overhyped. tommee tippee ctn were fine for my lo.

I used Playtex dropins with my son years ago and they were great, but I didn't want to buy all the bags this time around. I tried Playtex Ventaire, but LO didn't like them at all. She loves the Avent, but I am just gettign tired of them leaking all the time. I am searching for another type, but she may not let me give up the Avents...lol. So far we have tried the soothies and I have a Nuk to try.

We use the NUK bottles as he has a NUK pacifier.

I use Avent teats with a supermarket (Tesco) brand of wide necked bottles and they work great for us  My best friend swears by MAM Ultivent bottles for her LO so it really is dependant on baby!
