Hi Chicks,

We don't know the sex for sure (and want to stay on team yellow) but, after looking at 3D scan pics of their face are convinced it's a boy!

The problem is all the boys names I like begin with an 'F' and they just don't go with Fryer (ie/ Frank, Flynn, Fergus etc).

So am after any suggestions! Would like a name that is perhaps celtic, or slightly unusual (but not too wacky!!)

Thanks All xxxx

How about...

Arthur
Brady
Brody
Callum
Conner
Cullen
Declan
Desmond
Keene
Malcolm
Nolan
Roan
Teague
Trey
???
Hope this helps :)

Names I like that are a bit different but not wacky :

Logan
Riley
Brody
Brady
Lennon
Archie

Im like you tho, i like a lot of names beginning with F, such as Frankie (my sons name ), Flynn, Finn, Finley, Freddie.....

Cheers Chicks, we have Declan, Ethan & Xavier on our short list so far.

Middle name wise - well our 'family' name is Alexander, it has gone down through the generations in one form or another so, seeing as LO is taking OH surname we will probably have that as a middle name (or not, but likely!!!)

I like Lennon too!

Did like Lachlan but it's a bit of a mouthful!

OH liked the name Lennon if we were having a boy.

Logan, Gavin, Teagan, Keegan, Shea, Riley, Brendan, Liam??

Lennon is cool!

Our fourth was going to be called Lennon, right up until he was born, then DH decided to call him Sonny instead . Still really like Lennon though.. xx

what about james..

james fryer is a nice combination :)

What about Milo or Lorcan. They're both Celtic names, I believe.

Lorcan Fryer
Milo Fryer..

I work in a school and haven't come across any of these, so they're not too popular but equally don't sound naff IMO...

Good luck with your choice.

I like Sonny too but the OH has totally vetoed it!

I like Jamie as a form of James?

If on the random off chance it does turn out to be a girl then that's easy! It's boy's names we are stuck on!!

Our family name (on my husband's Scottish side) is Alexander too!

My close friend's son is Angus! She suggested Hamish to me but i'm not so keen.

Really like Declan at the moment (aside from it being shortened to 'Dec'!) but I don't think it's that obvious... (!)

Also could be shortened to Dex. I like the name though and am cool with that nickname.

I really like Dexter but it's become really trendy lately (maybe cause of Charlotte Church!!)

Heya my family is from glasgow so here are some suggestions

lochlan/ or lachlan is very scottish
Axel
Alistair

But my dad and uncle have 'normal names' with celtic spellings (Allan and Iain)
