I like the names abel and amos.

amos means strong- from being told he wouldn't make it and other complications, he is pulling through as of now and staying a strong fighter. Great grandpas name aslo

abel means breath -I'm high risk and have been through a lot this pregnancy. He has literally and figuratively taken my breath away and I don't know what I would do without him. My first name has a similar meaning with air being something u need to sustain life and without it, u wouldn't be anything. Hope I make sense

Yea don't worry. I've actually given people these two names and they completely dismissed and ignored my story and just started suggesting other names. Made me so angry. If I don't like it.. fine. But sent start suggesting other names when I didn't ask for it.

These two names I love and if I had a second son, the other son would be named the other name. I'm starting to talk to my baby and I just call him baby right now because I go back and forth lol.

I picked Abel. It's in my top two - for no particular reason other than I love it.

I knew a family with the last name Amos when I was growing up, so that's how I think of it. I don't think its bad though. I just prefer Abel

I love Abel. The nickname Abe is adorable. One of my favourite bands has a song called Abel so that probably influences my decision a bit if I'm honest.

Amos also strikes me as a last name.
