Braxton hicks or something else?

Two nights iv woken with my stomach rock hard and feel like iv been winded and hard to get my breath its like a tight pushing feeling? Its quite painful but i thought braxton hicks weren't meant to be painful? X

Thats a myth. BH can bloody hurt, with all 3 of mine they hurt.

It sounds like they are BH

My BH causes my stomach to get really tight and hard, sometimes misshapen. Can be painful, other times just uncomfortable.
