Braxton Hicks stopped!

What the heck! While I've enjoyed my second day off work, starting to regret taking time off if nothing is going to happen.

Was 2cm and 80% effaced last week and will get checked again tomorrow... Hmm interesting though, now finding myself googling "Braxton Hicks stopped, sign of labor" haha, funny how you find anything to ask "___, sign of labor?"

But just for fun, has BH stopped before anyone's labor?

My BH stopped like two weeks ago. I'm also 2 cm and 80% effaced (got checked yesterday), and I've been losing my plug today. Aaarrggghhhh, I hate this waiting game!!

Mine come and go but I have had it gone for over 2 weeks before I got induced other times I've had it happen the day I'm getting induced making them thinking was in labour

mine stopped a couple of weeks ago but for the last few nights ive been getting them back.
i dont think they are a sign on labour approaching but we can only hope xx

Of course now I am up with them again, actually they are more period type pains, I can't really stand up straight because of them, most - but not all.

It is 5am here and it has been going on since 3:30am, looking at my iPAD app, they are averaging about 8 minutes apart but really not making much out of it right now...

Just hopeful! I have already had trouble falling asleep the past few nights, my mind just racing with thoughts lol.

Of course now I am up with them again, actually they are more period type pains, I can't really stand up straight because of them, most - but not all.

Ahh sorry your not sleeping.... but im glad im not the only one
its 10.22am here at the moment and im on the sofa with the duvet..
i had about 2 hours sleep lastnight. Im waking up with back ache unable to get comfy again (along with OH loud breathing whilst he sleeps!)
do you keep making up unsure as to if youve just had a 'contraction' thinking.. This is it! haha

Ahh sorry your not sleeping.... but im glad im not the only one
its 10.22am here at the moment and im on the sofa with the duvet..

My hubby is a snoring animal!!! Then he laughs in his sleep and speaks what I can only think is German? Makes me laugh! I bet if I asked him in his sleep he would tell me if we were having a boy or girl!

I am up every couple hours and after a few times, I just lose interest in trying to fall back asleep and before long am wide awake.

I wish the tightenings/cramping would either get stronger or just go away - it's in the gray zone! I would love it if it woud happen soon!

i thought my biggest bummer would be waking up needing the loo all the time. but no.. i was blind to the other discomforts of pregnancy

umm i would like to think it would happen soon but at the same time ive not lost any of my plug and i dont have any early labour signs other than this backache so im not very hopeful.
how about you, do you have any signs ? x

Besides the cramping no. I was checked last week and am 2cm dilated and 80% effaced and was like "oh I will go into labor today!"... nope! Haha, I get checked again this afternoon, so we will see if there is any change in 12 hours lol. Maybe I will go for a long walk after he gets off to work!

Sounds promising!!! Fingers crossed for you hun. My BH have decreased too. Baby is back to back so going to spend today watching films on all fours! Probably getting major neck pain.

I'm not sleeping either, purely because my mind wakes up. I only need the loo once a night and I;m still comfy. Need to learn to stop thinking!

but we have nothing to watch on tv tonight (weds are always rubbish haha) so again we will be going for a long work and then dtd! (whether he wants to or not )
I hope its progressed for you and I get to wake up tomorrow to your this is it story!
we are due on the same day! So lets stay in touch x

Sounds like a plan!!! It is 6:30am here and hubs is off to work, woke him up to make him breakfast and didn't even phase him that I was up already. Didn't ask to hear that I have been up since 3:30! Whatever, at least got a good meal out of the deal!

haha typical! well if when he gets home later you are flat out snoring yourself atleast you have a good excuse! i dont know how you can cook in the morning! the thought and smell of food that early simply makes me want to
