Breaking news: A nurse at Texas Health Presbyterian were Ebola Patient Eric Duncan was being treated has tested positive for Ebola. She is the first Ebola patient known to have contacted it on US soil.

I live in the same area as this hospital and my sister is a nurse there and my mom is a doctor. They know of the person but never met them. They say the person is very sick. But that's all they know. My husband wants us to move.

I think moving house at such short notice is probably a bit unreasonable and very impractical. Could you stay with family out of the area for a while?

I flat out told him that was stupid and unreasonable.

Plus in two weeks we are moving to a bigger house anyway.

I'm sure my mind would go there too if I lived closer! Scary stuff. Hope this is the end of it! Also hope the nurse ends up ok.

She got a plasma transfusion from the doctor who survived it yesterday. This was also offered to Duncan but as Plasma gets around the whole "match" type some. That doesn't mean everyone is a match for instance. with plasma a person with type AB blood can give plasma to someone who is type -AB sometimes even type O but it depends on the blood type and other stuff. Unfortunately, Mr Duncan was 1.) to far along and 2.) wasn't a match.

The nurse will be fine. I'm worried about the second now confirmed case at that same hospital.

Yeah and apparently she flew on a plane to Cleveland and back. Oh yeah i just took care of an Ebola patient for 2 weeks then he died. Let me get on this plane here. Sorry but she should have waited to make sure.

The second one flew home from Cleavland the day before she started showing symptoms, according to the articles I read this morning.

They are saying now she reported a temp of 99.9 2 hours before she left on the plane but she left anyway because it went down.
