So my baby poo'd all over my stretchy white pants today (he's breast fed, so poo is sticky and bright yellow). I'm @ work though so there's no taking them off, washing etc. I just scrubbed with some water. I know his poo has stained his onesies so I'm wondering is there any way to get it off?
Surely I could try using bleach?
Mind you I won't be able to wash them for about 4-5 hrs after he poo'd on them though.. not going home for a few hours! Ideas?

I usually make a paste with a little bit of water and washing powder, rub it into the stain and then put it through the washing machine and that sometimes takes stubborn stains out... it took Seths poo stain off one of his bath towels

hope that works for you!

Try the sunshine :)

Just hang them outside for the afternoon, you'd be surprised at the bleaching power of sunlight! Especially for baby stains.

Totally agree, I hang Kaya's nappies in the sunshine and it bleaches the poo.

My hubby tends to put the pooey stuff on a 60degree wash that gets all the yucky stains out. (i know it isn't very environmentally friendly but its not that often)

'vanish' i swear by it... do you get that over there??

Use baby oxy clean... I have used it on stains that were already there when clothes were given to me and it has come out... Baby poo too...

it is very easy to get BF stains out by just sunning the item. put your pants out in the sun for a couple of hours and it should come out nice and shiny!! good luck!

I always use vanish whites in-wash powder and swear by it too. If it's on baby's stuff and you're worried about it then just put the machine on for an extra rinse....that's what i did at 1st but to be hones none of us have had a problem with it and my daughter's have sensitive skin.
