Breast pain after period.

Hoping someone can shed some light on this.

Iv had constant breast pain now since about 3 days before AF came, period has been and gone but yet my breast pain still remains! Period finished on cd5 I'm now cd9, iv not had this before which is why is so confusing. Normally it's tender boobs and then AF comes and it goes away. But this pain is different, if I touch the sides it's a very sharp stabbing pain rather then tenderness. And they hurt all over but more painful at the sides.

Anybody else had this before? Thanks x

I did in July. It was the worst and earliest PMS since I started tracking things (I don't remember one this bad for symptoms in maybe 10 years).

I started with breast swelling and tenderness days after O and it only got worse through AF's arrival. After she left I was still super sore and swollen. It took until I was due to O again for the combo punch to my chest to die off. This month I had no real PMS aside from cramps 24hrs before starting.

I have friends who only get a week off from tenderness and swelling, so it isn't unheard of.
