i'm breastfeeding my daughter but having real problems with wind, she might only feed for a couple of mins and then she starts squirming about, crying, so have to wind her and start again,to only have afew more mins before she needs winded again, this goes on all the way through the feed, think she's latched on properly, no pain or cracked nipples, the only problem is we both have thrush,
different postions dont help, on the odd occasion she has a bottle she's fine,
what am i doing wrong?

sure it's wond and not something sore in her mouth because of the thrush? just a thought. Maybe the nipple touches bits the bottle doesnt?

i agree that maybe its something in her mouth rather than wind. I breast feed my daughter exclusively and she very rarely needs winding

i also exclusively breast feed and Ted is a little windy bag! Always have to wind him or he's guaranteed to have windy pain issues later on. Poor mite. Typical boy - always burping!

My LO is like this sometimes, i find it really really hard to get the wind out of her. We have started using Infacol and it does seem to be helping.
Have you tried that..it might help?
I hope things start improving for you both soon.
