Hello everyone!
I have a question re: bf-ing.
I decided on Monday that it would be the last day I would nurse my baby. It had been a very gradual process and definitely wasn't a an abrupt decision. No sore breasts even!

My cycles have been as follows for the last 6ish months:
44 days
32 days
34 days
16 days (this was super weird and AF lasted only 3 days)
And now I'm going on day 33.

On average my cycle is 32-34 days. Before having her I was 28-30.

Here I am, AF is due and I feel nauseated, and fatigued, emotional with lots of cramping. I want to say it's related to the weaning but the cramping started about 9 days ago. So much so that I swore she would be around the corner. I spotted on CD 28 andCD 31. Very light pink and scant. I swore she was coming, got a huge gush and it was just CM.

Is this weaning symptoms or could I be pregnant?????

My husband and I aren't really trying but haven't been careful. Not really sure what to think. So really I'm just wondering for those who've weaned, how'd you feel the week after?

Hi, the one way to know if it's a pregnancy is to take a test. I have to say I didn't have any symptoms like this when I stopped but then I'd not really 'weaned' it was all very gradual over about 6 months and then Ds just stopped - my period didn't feel any different after and apart from tender breasts for a few days I didn't have any other symptoms.

Well, I took a test and it came back positive. So this girl is preggo. Total surprise.

Oh my goodness! Congratulations. How do you feel about it?

Honestly??? It has Been a whirlwind of emotions!!! Hubby and I do want one more I just didn't expect it to be so fast!!! LO just turned a year. So nervous and scared was a huge component to how I'd been feeling. We have been talking about it nonstop which has helped a lot and when my husband came home yesterday with burger and fries (my fav!) and yellow flowers (for gender neutral) I felt really excited.

It's sooooo much to take in and by my last period I'm at least 5 weeks. So it's crazy because one moment I was not pregnant in my mind the next I'm with child!!

Excitement is starting to take over.

I just thought it was s bf issue!! But nope, it was my new baby 😬😬😬😬

Congratulations!
I'm in a similar situation. 19 month old has just about weaned herself and last week I got a very shocked and unplanned BFP! Like you we weren't being overly careful though but it was still a huge shock none the less!
Starting to sink in now though and allowing myself to be excited to have another baby in the house now Emily is a toddler.
Come join us in the due January thread if you haven't done already!

Big congratulations to both of you. My mum always told me that babies come at the right time no matter how much planning you do either way. I wish you both a happy and easy 9 months.
