Breastfeeding & IVF for #2??

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has successfully breastfed while going through IVF?

I do not know anybody that has, but I would imagine if the drugs are OK with BFing and your cycle is normal than it would be ok. I am not sure about the drugs though. Some doctors might say no just to be safe, so I would suggest finding out what meds your protocol will entail and email Jack Newman to see what his opinion is.

I am going to check with my doctor when I go, and might give the breastfeeding association here in Australia a call

Only problem I can see is that the hormones used to mature and collect eggs could possible wreck your supply or be transferred to LO
