I'm posting in here and hoping for some experiences -

I've always thought the baby was transverse and right under my ribs - and today at my MW appt (37w5) my fundal measurement was 35 and no growth since last appt and she said she's certain head not down and poss breech, which could be the reason why baby is measuring behind.

Anyone with any experience with breech and fundal measurements?

No direct experience, but my bump measurements were all over the place. I measured small for both pregnancies and had 8lb 14oz and 8lb 15oz healthy boys. In my experience it's not a particularly reliable measure of progress. I hope someone else can answer your question a bit more thoroughly! X

thanks for your reply anyway. Yes i'm not too concerned at FHs to be honest as according to my DDs FH graph she was planning to be round 8-9lb yet she was 6lb11 full term and has remained on 20th centile to this day and shes 3.5.

I'm just thinking as I have now stopped growth according to FH, as it stayed the same from wk 36 and now wk 38 is it because baby is breech?

It could be because LO is breech or could just be that the baby has dropped a bit. My FH measurements were 3 weeks behind at about 36 weeks and then they had actually gone down a week later. At one point I was 6 weeks behind. Went for two growth scans because of it and baby looked normal. She was born at 8lbs 2. FH measurements get less reliable from 36 weeks onwards. My MW stopped bothering with mine in the end as the hospital said they would not bother to scan me again even if my FH stayed still or kept going down.

ETA: My LO was not breech. I'm tall with a long torso so in the end they put it down to that.
