Bright red blood after intercourse

This is my first pregnancy so I find myself worrying about everything. I am 29 weeks now. My husband and I had sex last night for the first time in a while. Afterwards, I noticed slight cramping that went away but when I wiped, there was bright red blood (only showed on the first wipe and not the other wipes). Now tonight, I saw bright red blood again only on the first wipe, along with a tiny red clump. I was diagnosed with cervical polyps so I don't know if that's what may have ripped off. I don't have cramping and I feel baby moving around. Has anyone else experienced this?

No but I know that any bleeding during pregnancy should be looked into by a doctor or midwife asap. It's probably nothing but it's worth getting checked out just to be safe.

In my first pregnancy I bled bright red onto a wipe after intercourse and onto a pad aswell, when I was overdue.
I was told blood vessels can burst or something :dunno: still get a second opinion xx

On info websites it says abit of pink of brown is normal when wiping but much later on when labor is ok because its a bloody show but bright red is never ever normal no matter how far along. Please get yourself checked out I hope all is well.

As you are in third tri you should phone the duty midwife on labour and delivery ward about this. It is likely to be nothing serious but it does need to be checked. I personally would not wait till Monday and I am not usually one who bothers the medical profession out of hours.

I agree that you should have it checked. I've only bled once and this was after Dtd at 15 weeks. I think OH may have hit my cervix a bit hard but it was only a little on the tissue afterwards along with (Tmi) semen lol. but it was only pinkish in colour x
