Hiya! I've been having a few problems with my electric since moving in. On average I'm putting about £50-£60 a week on the prepayment meter, and that is without having heating on or any hot water. I rang British Gas today, and they've given me a "tech number" and said they would credit me with £10 then monitor how that credit was used. Does anybody know what I do with this tech number? Do I take it to my local pay point to redeem the credit? The guy on the phone wasn't very helpful!
