Broken wrist, itchy cast!

I broke my wrist last week and I've got one of them lightweight coloured casts on (fiberglass, I think?!) And my arm is soooo itchy, its driving me mad does anyone know how I can stop theitching? X

I've never broken anything that needed a cast *touch wood* but I'm sure I've heard blowing a hairdryer down the inside of the cast is meant to help?X

I used a chopstick when I broke my wrist

The doc said to never stick anything down my cast, not sure why though! I might just use something hmm x

I used the end of a wire clothes hanger

My LO had this problem when he had an operation his hand. We just had to distract him poor bugger.

I have had 2 broken wrists and one with the same cast as you. I was young and I would get distracted but I defo feel your pain! X

Take piriton, you are not supposed to put anything in a cast

Thankyou, ill try piriton. The hairdryer works great but it starts itching again when I turn it off, arhh! I cant wait for it to be taken off lol x
