Brown blood...spotting or period?

So finally at 24DPO I began getting some brown discharge...it's more than I would call 'spoting' but it would be a very light period. Can I call it a period and have it as CD1 if it is brown not red?

My fertility app is on cycle day 106 so I'm desperate to be able to start a new cycle!! Let me know what you think!!

I'm going through the same thing right now. I have read online that the first day of your period is when you have red blood.

Waaaaaaa, last time I never got to call it a period because it was BLACK for 12 days!!

Did you ever ovulate after that cycle that was black?

Yes, 3 weeks later! Hadn't been temping that month, but got a positve OPK, that was gone by the next day so it was a surge.

If it is enough to warrant sanitary protection then I would class it as a period, some ladies don't get red blood x

No problem, I have pcos myself so I know how frustrating it can be, ovulated on CD20 this month!! bah
