Hello ladies,

For those of you that you the flask and powder method or who (unlike me!) make their feeds fresh how do you get rid of/produce less foam bubbles when making fresh feeds?

:flower: thank you x

When making a normal bottle fresh (I say normal as we're currently using an anti reflux one) I always swirl rather than shake the bottle. But if you shake and get foam you can stir the formula with a fork or spoon to return it to liquid - we have to do this with the anti reflux milk.

Once shaken (it doesn't have to be a vigorous shake, just a gentle one) swirl the bottle gently a few times. This seems to remove most of the additional unnecessary bubbles for us.

Thank you ladies! I'll have to be gentle with my shakes and also try swirling. Thank you! X

I used long baby spoon to stir instead of shake xx

I agree with Omar's mom. Don't shake the bottle at all. Use a long spoon or even a fork to stir it up and you will get much less air bubbles.
