Budget 2010

Does anyone know what changes yesterday's budget has on maternity leave and stuff? I can't seem to find anything about it online apart from next year the paid time off might be going up to 52 weeks - oh how I wish that was effective immediately!

I'd imagine the SMP must have gone up at least a couple of quid but I can't find squat!

think i read smp has gone up 30p a week but that's about it. and something coming in place but not until 2012.

The thing is 2012 is a £4 increase in child tax credits, but how much of the £4 you get will depend what level you are on to start with. I can only get £10 a week so will probably only get an extra 20p a week or something, and my baby will be 2 by then!
