Hi,

Just had a demo of this travel system. We were very impressed with it. Very practical and seemed quite robust. We were less than impressed with price tag though!! By the time we factor in the car seat/base and then all the ancillaries that are extra, it works out near £800!! My partners car cost less than that!!

I'm after some reviews from people who may have one. What do you think to it? Would you buy one again?

Also, open to suggestions to alternatives. We're not at all bothered about what the latest fashion is. We just want something that will last and do a good job.

THANKS!

Will check it out! I guess there aren't many Bugaboo converts on here then!

Hey mds,

I've got the M&P MPX travel system and it's great. Including car seat, car seat base, bassinet, push chair attachment, chassis and stand it cost about £600.00. The chassis is lightweight (3 kgs), although slightly bulky if you have a small boot.

No complaints from this mummy!

I'm not a huge fan of the bugaboos - just becasue I don't think they're overpriced for what they are.

Hiya! I tried the cameleon once and knew i had to have it! Most reviews i have read are good ones and i found it for a bargain on this website https://www.twoleftfeet.co.uk/acatalog/New_Bugaboo_Cameleon_Package.html
this price includes the maxi cosi car seat and adapters.
We were given a demo of it too and it is really easy to put up and down, and it's lightweight :happydance:
And you can buy extra covers and have a differnt coloured pram every day! I think this is the real reason I'm getting it

I had the double of this and it is fab. The only thing with it having small wheels at the front they get caught on any lumps or bumps in the pavement very annoying, and when I was pregnant I worried about that cos of catching my bump

I spent a couple of hours looking at Prams in mothercare.

I had my heart set on the Silvercross 3D...well until i had a demo and overheard a mother pushing exact same model. Lets just say we changed out mind quick and black listed this choice.

I honestly couldnt choose any other pram apart from the bugaboo- We were utterly converted. The price tag is expensive admittedly, but it was soo much easier to collapse and assemble and compact and lightweight compared to other prams.

We ended up buying a Bright red Chameleon bugaboo and absolutely love it!
For us, it suited our needs. We didnt plan to spend that much on a pram, but im glad I had the demo of others before deciding.

Hope that helps
