Bum genius AIO - Washing Advice?

Hi guys,

There are a few threads out there about getting nappies ready to absorb to the max!!! But, just wanted to check if a hot wash 60C or more is best, or is 40C/cold wash ok for this prewash as they are clean anyway?

My nappies are AIO bum genius, and although my mum used to boil flat cloth nappies for me and my brother I don't intend to do that!!!

My washing machine does go up to a 90C sanitary wash though and I was thinking this would be great infection control on poopy nappies, but not sure if the plastic waterproof layer in the AIO will survive it! Any ideas? What has everyone else done?

Your thoughts and experience are appreciated!

on the bumgenius nappies the washing instructions are on the other side of the branding label.
my aio onesize organic state max 60 degree wash.

A 40 wash is fine, you are only pre-washing and I usually wash at 40 anyway, and do the odd 60 once a week or something. I wouldn't do the BG AIOs at more than 60 because of the PUL.
