bump on breast - really worried

Hi there, i am currently breastfeeding my 5 month old son but im only feeding him one feed a day but yesterday i forgot to feef so i went to feed him a couple of hours ago and i.noticed a small red bump near my nipple. Its a little sore when i touch it. I am now freaking out its breast cancer. Any ideas? Anyone had this before? Could it be cancer? Im so scared and im having a major panic attack.

I'm not a doctor, but it wouldn't worry me. Is it a montgomery gland that's got a bit sore perhaps? Keep an eye on it, but try not to worry.

I'd not worry, it doesn't sound at all sinister. I've had little bumps and red patches come and go quite a bit, I think they're just part and parcel of breastfeeding.
