Once again last night I was back at the hospital for reduced movements, which even the midwife picked up on the monitor he did not meet criteria until almost 50 minutes past, and he basically JUST met criteria, but as the midwife proudly stated her shift was over and she was meeting her husband for a meal, I felt like I was thrown out, even though baby just about scraped the criteria, I didn't feel him move, I've had some, but not as much and again today.

That's one thing, another thing is the monitor showed i was and have been contracting 3 times every 10 minutes, obviously not enough to be in established labour, another thing I'm keeping an eye on, still the same today however they are 4 times in 10 minutes, and I'm not going to lie, the period type pain with these contractions are making me feel like I'm going to poop myself (I've been going like crazy since yesterday) I've also vomited this morning.

Lastly, my bump has shrunk! Babys been fully engaged for a while now so I know it's not that, does anyone have a clue? Does baby shift down more with contractions? I have no idea, it's been almost 8 years since going into labour naturally.

I'm in completely agony and this is so different from anything I've felt from 30 weeks, so praying it gets worse throughout the day :)

The pictures are 2 days ago, and today...my bump just looks strange to me and a bit smaller? I'm 37+6

I have no idea what to suggest hun.
Other than head straight back if you are still not happy with movements don’t let them fob you off, your very close now!
I’d go get him checked over again Xx

Agree with PP . If your still not 100% happy go back. I think as baby drops lower into the pelvis your bump can appear smaller . But just get checked over again ! x

Thanks both, he is moving but since getting all these contractions it's much less, which has happened while in labour twice before, as for my bump, I know it looks smaller the more baby shifts down, but does that still apply when they are already fully engaged and has been for weeks? Lol

My DD was fully engaged for a few weeks before labour. But the day before my labour started my bump dramatically dropped. I had to suddenly start sitting with my legs spread apart to fit bump it dropped so low. People noticed it move down over the day too. So I definitely think it drops when labour is imminent. Fx!!

Agree if your not happy go back and get bubba checked again!

Thanks hun I definitely feel this is the case with my bump, I just want sure if they could go down any more after being fully engaged, i know nothing lol! It almost feels soft in some places between the contractions and since my bump has changed the shape I've noticed this throbbing heartbeat type pain in my back, obviously from baby being wedged right in there

It looks like ure bump is higher again. Do u think he may of popped back up because 3rd babies can go up and down. I think u still look the same size hon but it dont look as low as it does in the first photo.

I hope that all the signs ure having are the real deal. How far apart are the contractions and how long are they lasting?

I hope the sickness and diareah is a sign to and u haven't picked a bug up.

That midwife definitely didnt treat ure concerns fairly I wud definitely go back if ure worried.
Maybe he is having a big sleep b4 the big event.
It was over 8 years ago I went into labour naturally on my own and I just cant remember if they go quiet b4 labour.
Tommy was still moving when I was in labour. I'm not sure if he was when I was in established labour because the pain was so bad I cudnt tell.

I hope this is it hon. Keep us posted x

No I meant my bump is not as prominent as it was, it looks higher because the bottom is such a weird flat shape, maybe it's just my eyes lol hes definitely not popped back out either, contractions are still what they were however they are lasting between 1 and 2 mins, not over 2 minutes as I first put Definitely don't have a bug either, I was sick this morning only

I would get checked out if you're worried. Maybe baby has just changed position though <3

Yeah hon contractions last about 2 mins when it's the real thing so it may be the real thing but the early stages. I do hope so hon.
Do u think the flatter shape cud be his back and hes moved his back around more. I think ure water levels decrease the further along u are as well.
Oh come on little man I wanna see pics hahaha.

Are u still contracting hon?

I had the contractions all night they did get closer together, but I slept in between the pain, now this morning I've woke up with nothing but morning sickness again lol I really thought last night was it...

Hlx I keep getting early contraction like pains too and then they settle. Mine come randomly but more often on an evening/night and then just stop.

I didn’t get this with my first 2 until I was in actual labour so I wonder if this is a 3rd baby thing.

I’m really nervous about going into labour tomorrow as my hubby is away from 12 until the early hours of the morning and he’s going to be a 2 hour train journey away

Hope your wee man comes soon as he’s really tricking you isn’t it the cheeky monkey

It must definitely be a 3rd baby thing! I did have something similar with my second baby, but nothing to this scale! I want to pull him out myself:haha: oh God it will be sods law now that baby will come tomorrow means your hubby is away for the day! How are you feeling anyway? X

You must all be sick of me going on about reduced movements, and tbh, I'm sick of it happening! I'm not going to go on about it in detail now other than the fact today is another one of those days, I feel like a bit of a hypochondriac, but I'm really not, and infact I'm pretty laid back so for me to worry, there's a genuine reason. I know to go back if I'm worried, but I'm just wondering whether you think they will induce me, this will be my 5th episode, technically 6th as the 4th reduced movement was in between 2 episodes that I wasnt sure of and didn't end up getting checked out, but tried getting him to move myself. I'm 38+1 and I'm sick of it now, I got induced with my second after 3 episodes but I was 39+6. My CTGs has always been acceptable, apart from the latest one which I mentioned. At the hospital he does kick the midwives when they have a feel, but usually that's my first movement of the day and they see that as a good movement, whereas for me it has been the only time that day he has moved, do I really need to worry this much? I would much rather them just evict him as for me as his mother, just feels something is just off! But to explain that to the midwives at my hospital is a task in itself!

Hi hon I just messaged u on Instagram. I really thought I had had him because u went quite.
This is exactly what kept happening to me. Contracting all night long and then by morning it wud stop it's the most frustrating thing. I had it happen 5 nights in a row when I was 36 weeks and I didnt sleep hardly at all it's so shit.

If it shows on the monitor that baby isnt moving then they may induce you but they will leave u on it for ages and get u to drink cold sweet drinks to see if it gets baby moving then if that still dont work I wud think they mite induce.

U cud always go in and get checked out and ask I mean it may be worth a try but I dont think they induce people unless there is something wrong with baby or for medical reasons like pre eclampsia or that thing I had ICP.

I begged them to injuce me with DS1 because I was in absolute agony and he had alot of episodes of reduced movements but then I wid go and be put on monitor and he wud move. So they refused to Injuce me and I ended up going to 42 weeks which sucked. He was a very big baby 9lbs and I'm small and that's why his movements were not much because he literally had no room at all.

It's so frustrating how they dont listen to our concerns and worries. In there eyes it's as long as baby is ok there keeping them in.
It's so annoying.
I'm so sorry ure still not there yet. I'm actually shocked. Have they said anything about induction?
If u do end up going in to be monitored just ake them I mean they can only say yes or no so it wont hurt.

I really hope u do end up going into labour on ure own tho hon. I wud if rather of gone into labour on my own then being induced. That passery is horrible
