Buying for an 8 year old girl!

Help!

LO has a birthday in October and then we have Christmas too! I have no idea what to buy for her or what to tell others to buy.

She loves to read- but there's only so many books she can own. She goes to brownies, does ballet, ice skates and swims.
She doesn't play with toys at all anymore, she mainly reads. She doesn't like craft things and she already has a barely used tablet and a well used, but new last year- iPod.
She also likes Harry Potter!

What about a trip to the Harry Potter studio?
Or take her out on a girly shopping trip and let her choose new clothes, hair bits etc.
My daughter is a similar age and doesn't really play with toys. I made her a big smiggle hamper think last year with stationary on it for school.
Does she need anything big like a bike? Scooter? Roller skates? I also tend to get her recently released dvds and cds
