Advice needed please!

I'm combi feeding my LO and currently using SMA Gold. LO is very gassy/windy and is suffering from colic. We've been using Infacol but found that it really slows the frequency of bowel movements (1 on Sunday, next on Weds morning) and he spends the day before a BM in pain, very gassy and very very unsettled/colic.

I'm using Dr Brown bottles and this has helped a little but was thinking of switching formula to one of the comfort types.

1) What bottles/teats work best with comfort formula?

2) what's the most efficient way to make it up/store it when made?

3) did comfort milk make a difference for you?

Thanks in advance!

I've just switched from normal c&g to comfort. I'm also using Dr Brown bottles which has helped alot. I had the level 1 teats (0+) but with the comfort milk he took up to an hour to drink as the formula is a little bit thicker. He has settled with level 3 teats which now takes him 15 mins to drink!

I would suggest to try the next level up teat and see how your baby takes to it. It'll be easier for the milk to get thru. Also I make the bottles up, cool down and store in fridge ready for when he needs a feed x

We are on aptamil comfort we went up a teat size because the formula is thicker now at 6 months she's on level 3

Made a huge difference :) tip with colic timed feelings and dummies was given to me by the osteopath we saw best advice ever
